Following the successful introduction of the U.S. $20 and $50 notes that have been redesigned over the last two years, the $10 denomination will be the next note slated for a make-over by the Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The newly redesigned $10 note is scheduled to be issued by the Federal Reserve in early 2006. Similar to the new $20 and $50 notes' designs, the updated $10 note will feature enhanced security features, subtle background colors and American symbols of freedom.
